Background

The district heating plant in Tingsryd, owned by Tingsryd Energi AB, chose to modernize the facility by installing an ORC turbine connected to its 6 MW hot water boiler. The investment not only provides more efficient electricity and heat production but also helps the plant meet its environmental targets.

Our solution

Againity delivered an automated ORC system with a maximum capacity of 99.9 kW of electricity production. The ORC system enables electricity generation from the hot water produced by the boiler.
