Background

The district heating plant in Ebeltoft, owned by Ebeltoft Fjernvarmeværk, has undergone modernization in recent years. The company invested in ORC turbines that utilize hot water from a 13 MW boiler. This initiative not only enables electricity production at the plant but also contributes to reduced climate impact.

Our solution

Againity delivered an automated ORC system with a maximum capacity of 124 kW of electricity production. The ORC system enables electricity generation from the hot water produced by the boiler.
