Background

The district heating plant in Kozienice, owned by Kozienicka Gospodarka Komunalna Sp. z o.o., has chosen to modernize its operations and work towards fossil-free energy production. As part of this initiative, the company invested in two ORC turbines that utilize hot water from two 4 MW biomass-fired boilers. This investment not only enables electricity production at the plant but also contributes to reduced climate impact.

Our solution

Againity delivered two automated ORC systems, each with a maximum capacity of 200 kW of electricity production. The ORC systems enable electricity generation from the hot water produced by the boilers. Kozienicka Gospodarka Komunalna Sp. z o.o. has chosen to sign a service agreement with Againity to ensure a long lifespan and minimal maintenance.
