Background:
Bio Mobitek OÜ is a boiler manufacturer active in several countries. A project in Tallinn, Estonia, involved an investment in an ORC system for a waste incineration boiler, which was delivered to the waste management company AS Eesti Keskkonnateenused. The addition of the ORC system resulted in a sustainable, local electricity production, contributing to a more climate-smart and sustainable society.
Our solution:
Againity delivered an automated ORC system with a maximum capacity of 110 kW electricity production. The ORC system enables electricity generation from the boiler’s hot water. In total, the system is expected to produce 760 MWh annually, corresponding to emission savings of 691 tonnes of CO2 equivalents when substituting coal-based electricity.
